Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine

E. Rand Sutherland, MD, MPH

Kevin K. Brown, MD
Interim Chief

What do we do? We diagnose and treat adult patients with a variety of common and unusual respiratory diseases. Patients are evaluated and treated in both the clinic and hospital settings.

Why National Jewish Health? As the leading respiratory hospital in the nation for 115 years, our faculty is widely recognized for excellence in the treatment of lung diseases. We also conduct basic science, clinical and translational research in the areas of asthma, COPD, interstitial lung disease, sleep disorders and other related conditions. Programs such as the new Autoimmune Lung Disease Center integrate clinical care and research across subspecialties.

The Section of Sleep Medicine and the Section of Critical Care Medicine are an integrated part of the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine.
