Donor Advised Fund

What is a DAF?

A Donor Advised Fund is a private fund administered by National Jewish Health that allows you significant control over the distribution of charitable gifts. A DAF makes it easy for you to support National Jewish Health and other favorite charities.

Your Own Charitable Fund

You can essentially create your own charitable foundation by setting up a Donor Advised Fund (DAF) through National Jewish Health. Starting with as little as $50,000, built up over two years, you can establish and exercise influence over a charitable fund.

Tax Benefits and Flexibility

When you make an irrevocable contribution to National Jewish Health to establish a Donor Advised Fund, you retain the right to advise on additional grant recipients. While a portion of your funds stay with National Jewish Health, you can also benefit other qualified charities.

Donor Advised Fund couple

• Responsibility for your fund can be shared by your family and passed on to your heirs.
