Environmental and Occupational Diseases
Environmental diseases are caused by exposure to something in a person's environment, as opposed to diseases that are caused by genetic or immunological deficiencies. Occupational diseases result from job-related exposures, such as dust or chemical substances, and they are typically non-infectious.
