How are sleep disorders diagnosed?

The sleep specialist uses the following information to make the diagnosis of a sleep disorder:

Your sleep specialist will give you a complete physical exam. Some things the doctor may look for include a deviated nasal septum, enlarged tonsils, or a narrow throat.
