    The National Institutes of Health estimates that millions of people are unaware they have Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), which involves chronic bronchitis and/or emphysema. A simple, painless lung function test can help detect COPD. Attend one of our free lung function screenings (spirometry) in the Denver area.

  • Testing family members of Alpha-1 patients
    If you are related to an Alpha-1 (Inherited Emphysema) patient, it is important for you to be tested for the disease. There is a free confidential testing program available to family members. Read more about Alpha-1 testing.
  • Want to travel? Don't despair!
    Many airlines now allow individuals receiving oxygen therapy to use certain portable oxygen concentrators (POCs) in flight. POCs have been approved because they don’t use compressed oxygen, which is classified as hazardous. Read more about approved POCs.
