What we do: The Pediatric Behavioral Health Team includes a team of experienced child psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers and creative art therapists who provide an array of mental health services to children and their families.
In addition to treating children with chronic illness, the Pediatric Behavioral Health Team provides mental health services to non-ill children and their families for a variety of psychological problems. These services can include individual, family and/or group therapy.
Why National Jewish Health: Our services are part of a multidisciplinary approach available to all children and families in the Denver metro community or worldwide if they are participating in the Pediatric Outpatient Clinic or the Pediatric Day Treatment Program. Our goal is to work cooperatively with the medical team to provide comprehensive assessment and treatment planning to better manage all aspects of chronic illness.
