The Office of Professional Education excels at producing high quality continuing education in the areas and diseases that National Jewish Health researches and treats.

ACCMENational Jewish Health has been accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) since its inception in 1984; in December 2011, National Jewish Health received Accreditation with Commendation from the ACCME. This is the highest level of accreditation through the ACCME and is awarded to providers that demonstrate compliance in all 22 Criteria and the Accreditation Policies. National Jewish Health was commended not only for meeting the ACCME's accreditation requirements, but also for demonstrating that the institution is a learning organization and a change agent for the physicians we serve. National Jewish Health and ProPatient Collaborate to take Cystic Fibrosis Education to the Next Level

ProPatient, an innovator for patient-focused, online educational platforms is working with National Jewish Health, the leading respiratory hospital in the country and home to the largest adult cystic fibrosis (CF) center in the United States, to bring a novel new approach to educate and support CF patients.

The online program is titled, “Transitioning to Adult Care in Cystic Fibrosis: Managing Real World Transition Strategies from Adolescence to Adulthood in Cystic Fibrosis.” Read the full article here.

Supraglottic Index Learning Program

The Supraglottic Index Learning Program is a learning program for CME/CE credit.

The Supraglottic Index Learning Program is intended to educate pulmonologists and allergists on anatomy and abnormalities of the supraglottic area to help in phenotyping refractory asthma in order to direct specific personalized therapy for their patients.

Intended audience: Pulmonologists, allergists, ENT, PA, NP, and other health care professionals who treat patients with asthma (in particular, refractory) and have a possibility of high reflux
