Dr. Carah Santos Joins National Jewish Health for Kids


Denver, CO —

Allergist/Immunologist Carah Santos, MD, has joined the nationally renowned National Jewish Health for Kids faculty. Dr. Santos will see patients suffering from asthma, allergies, atopic dermatitis and other immune related conditions. She will split her clinical time between the National Jewish Health main campus in Denver and the National Jewish Health satellite office in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. Dr. Santos comes to National Jewish Health for Kids from private practice at Allergy and Asthma Associates of Maine in Portland. She is a former National Jewish Health and University of Colorado, Denver fellow in pediatric allergy and immunology.

Dr. Santos received her medical degree at Pennsylvania State University of College of Medicine. She completed her residency at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford University before completing her fellowship at National Jewish Health. Dr. Santos has held appointments as clinical assistant professor at Tufts University School of Medicine and been attending staff at Maine Medical Center in Portland, ME. Additionally, Dr. Santos holds memberships with the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology and American Academy of Pediatrics.
