Special Interests


Specializing in thoracic surgeries and procedures, including Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD) biopsies, lung volume reduction surgery, Mediastinoscopy, nodule resection, Nissen fundoplication, tracheal dilations for tracheal stenosis, pectus excavatum, pectus carinatum, Poland syndrome, hyperhidrosis, thymectomy, mediastinal tumors, chronic abdominal pain due to pancreatitis, diaphragm paralysis, esophageal cancer and chest wall tumors.

Research Interests

My research interests include surgical clinical outcomes in thoracic oncology and lung transplantation, nutrition and metabolism, and identifying processes of care which lead to improved outcomes for surgical patients in order to improve patient care and shape health care policy.
