Description
UDTs are used to detect the use of illegal or prohibited drugs, prescription medications, over-the-counter medicines, and legal substances such as alcohol and tobacco. They can also be used to monitor compliance with prescribed therapy.
Collect
Aliquot from a random urine sample.
Pediatric Collection
Minimum Volume: 0.5 mL aliquot from a random urine sample.
Storage Transport Temp
Offsite: Frozen. Send urine aliquot Priority Overnight via FedEx and in a well insulated container on dry ice.
Stability
Analyze Immediately at RT (15-25°C)
48 hours refrigerated at 2-8°C
1 month frozen at ≤ - 20°C
