Description
A circulating eosinophil test, or an absolute eosinophil count, is a blood test that measures the number of eosinophils in your blood.
Collect
Whole blood in a Lavender top tube [EDTA].
Pediatric Collection
Minimum Volume: 1 mL whole blood in a lavender (EDTA) top tube.
Unacceptable Conditions
Clotted specimens will be rejected.
Storage Transport Temp
Offsite: Samples must be tested within 4 hours of collection. DO NOT freeze sample.
Stability
4 hours at RT (15-25°C)
