Barry L. Bobrow of Wells Fargo Capital Finance to be Honored at 40th Annual Financial Industries Dinner March 16

Event Benefits National Jewish Health, the Leading Respiratory Hospital in the Nation

More than 600 business leaders will gather for the 40^th Annual Financial Industries Dinner on Thursday, March 16, 2017, at the New York Hilton. Proceeds from the event will benefit National Jewish Health, the nation’s leading respiratory hospital. The dinner will honor Barry L. Bobrow, managing director and head of Loan Sales & Syndications for Wells Fargo Capital Finance. He will be awarded the National Jewish Health Humanitarian Award for his leadership and significant contributions to the community and financial industry. 
 

In addition to a notable career in banking, Bobrow is very active in the Commercial Finance Association, serving on numerous committees. In addition, he believes strongly in giving back to his community through philanthropic leadership. He is currently on the Executive Committee of the Foundation for Shalom Park in Charlotte, N.C., where he lives with his wife, Karen, and their three children, Anna, Sheldon and Jacob.
“I’m greatly honored to be recognized by the Trustees of National Jewish Health,” Bobrow said. “I’m also thrilled to be able to continue in the highly successful fundraising tradition for this dinner, which benefits the amazing work done by National Jewish Health.”

The Financial Industries Dinner is a prestigious event that gathers some of the biggest players in New York’s financial world for a time of networking and philanthropy. The evening will feature a cocktail reception, dinner and music by the Gerard Carelli Orchestra.

Supporters and guests of the event have long supported the research and treatment of respiratory, cardiac, immune and related diseases at National Jewish Health. Based in Denver, the institution partnered with Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in 2015, creating the Mount Sinai - National Jewish Health Respiratory Institute. This brought the National Jewish Health patient-centered, multidisciplinary model of care to New York City.

Dinner Chair Daniel Cott and Treasurer Dorothy Killeen, both of Wells Fargo Capital Finance, are leading the 2017 dinner. Jeffrey J. McLane, of Bank of America Merrill Lynch and the 2015 honoree, will be inducted to the National Jewish Health Council of National Trustees. The council comprises more than 200 community and business leaders across the country who work to raise awareness and support for National Jewish Health.
