Cardiologist Minisha Kochar, MD, Joins National Jewish Health

Minisha Kochar, MD, has joined the nationally recognized faculty in the Division of Cardiology at National Jewish Health. She comes to National Jewish Health from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA in Torrance, CA. Dr. Kochar will practice general cardiology, and she has a clinical interest in women’s heart health. She sees patients clinically at the National Jewish Health main campus, and covers inpatient services at Saint Joseph Hospital.

Dr. Kochar received her medical degree at the Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia. She completed a fellowship at Weill Cornell Medical College and Temple University, and her residency in internal medicine at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. She has co-authored a number of peer-reviewed publications.

In addition, Dr. Kochar has spent time working with the American Heart Association on their “Go Red for Women” movement and volunteering with community organizations that provide food and health care services in Southern California.
