New Directions Luncheon Benefiting National Jewish Health Features “Lilac Girls” Author Martha Hall Kelly

“Lilac Girls” Author Martha Hall Kelly is the featured speaker for the New Directions for Women Luncheon which supports care and research at National Jewish Health. The Luncheon is March 7, 2019, at the St. Andrews Country Club, 17557 Claridge Oval W, Boca Raton, from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
The annual New Directions for Women Luncheon is a premiere fundraising event for National Jewish Health, the leading respiratory hospital in the nation. The program brings awareness to the heart and lung health of women. At National Jewish Health world-class physicians and scientists seek to understand the unique symptoms, diagnoses, prevention and social issues women face with heart and lung disease.
Martha Hall Kelly’s New York Times bestseller, ‘Lilac Girls’, is the true story of 72 Polish women imprisoned in a German concentration camp, some of whom later came to National Jewish Health for treatment. Jill Deutch will also speak at the Luncheon. She is a National Jewish Health patient and the director of development for Hillel of Broward and Palm Beach.
