Adam Schwartz of Angelo Gordon Honored at 54th Real Estate and Construction Industries Dinner Dance Gala in New York
Gala Raises $1.8 million for National Jewish Health
DENVER, CO —
The 54th annual National Jewish Health ‘A Winter’s Evening’ Dinner Dance was held Saturday, December 10, 2022, at Pier Sixty, Chelsea Piers New York, raising $1.8 million to establish The Lauren and Adam Schwartz Fund for the Research and Treatment of Immune and Related Disorders at National Jewish Health, the nation’s leading respiratory hospital. Adam Schwartz, co-chief executive officer and co-chief investment officer at Angelo Gordon, was honored with the National Jewish Health Humanitarian Award. More than 400 guests attended the event.

“We are appreciative that for more than 50 years leading members of the New York real estate and construction industries have come together to support National Jewish Health,” said Michael Salem, MD, president and CEO of National Jewish Health. “And, we are honored this year to recognize Adam with this award for his charitable and civic contributions.”
Marty Burger, CEO, of Silverstein Properties, Inc., and a past recipient of the award, introduced Schwartz and presented the Humanitarian Award. Larry A. Silverstein, executive vice president at Silverstein Properties, Inc., and treasurer of the National Jewish Health Board of Directors, served as honorary chair and helped lead the evening’s program.
Wendy Siegel, executive chair for the event and co-chair of the National Jewish Health Council of National Trustees, welcomed Ben Brown, managing partner and head of the U.S. Office at Brookfield Properties, Inc. Brown was inducted as a new Trustee and was the honoree of this event in 2021.
