Pulmonologist Dr. Adriel Malavé Joins National Jewish Health Team


DENVER, CO —

Adriel Malavé, MD headshotAdriel Malavé, MD, has joined the nationally renowned faculty at National Jewish Health in the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine. He has a focused interest in pulmonary hypertension, pneumonia, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and lung cancer. He now sees patients at the National Jewish Health South Denver clinic.
 

Dr. Malavé comes to National Jewish Health from the University of South Florida where he completed his pulmonary and critical care fellowship. Following his fellowship, he spent 11 years at UT Health in San Antonio, Texas, a part of the University of Texas system. Dr. Malavé served in the Department of Pulmonary and Critical Care.

Dr. Malavé received his medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine and completed his residency at UT Health in San Antonio. He is board certified in pulmonary medicine and critical care medicine. Additionally, he has authored numerous peer-reviewed journal articles.
