Dr. Mark Mallozzi Joins National Jewish Health Pulmonology Team
DENVER —
Mark Mallozzi, MD, MPH, has joined National Jewish Health as a pulmonologist in the Division of Environmental & Occupational Health Sciences, Department of Medicine. He treats patients with sarcoidosis, asthma, occupational and environmental lung disease, and general pulmonology conditions at the National Jewish Health main campus in Denver.
Dr. Mallozzi comes to National Jewish Health from Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia where he received his medical degree and completed his residency. He was inducted into the Hobart Amory Honor Society for academic excellence and the Gold Foundation’s Gold Humanism Honor Society, which recognizes medical students for compassionate care. Dr. Mallozzi also completed his fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, where he was the chief fellow. He has given numerous lectures and talks on respiratory conditions and has had several studies published.
