Rev the Runway Aspen Event Raises Nearly $530,000 Benefiting National Jewish Health

DENVER —

The first Rev the Runway Aspen fashion show was held on August 8, 2024, with more than 250 guests in attendance. The sold-out event, presented by Nancy and Richard Rogers, raised nearly $530,000 for National Jewish Health, the leading respiratory hospital in the nation. Funds raised will help provide compassionate care for children and adults and support groundbreaking research in respiratory, cardiac, immune and related diseases. The event was held at the Doerr-Hosier Center at Aspen Meadows.

“We have much to celebrate, including our longstanding connection with the Aspen Valley,” expressed Michael Salem, MD, president and CEO of National Jewish Health, as he welcomed and thanked attendees. “For decades we have made world-class multi-specialty care accessible to Aspen and many communities along the Western Slope.”

The event was co-chaired by Jane Berg and Denise Cohen who led a team of “drivers” to plan the new event highlighting the Aspen community’s support of National Jewish Health. At the event, iconic designer Holly Hunt and design leaders Candice and Steven Stark were honored with the 2024 National Jewish Health Humanitarian Award, which is given to individuals who have made significant civic and charitable contributions to their communities, while also excelling in their professions.

The event featured a fashion show that showcased 20 of Aspen’s most exclusive boutiques and the season’s latest designs from London, Paris, Milan and beyond. The evening included a Bentley-inspired cocktail hour and the Modern Luxury Fashion Awards celebrating the most stylish patrons. Comedian and actor Shelby Chong served as emcee.
