Dr. Daniel Groves Joins National Jewish Health Cardiology Team

DENVER - Daniel Groves, MD, has joined National Jewish Health as a cardiologist in the Division of Cardiology within the Department of Medicine. Dr. Groves brings extensive expertise in advanced cardiac imaging and will see patients at the National Jewish Health main campus in Denver.

Dr. Groves completed fellowships in cardiovascular disease and advanced cardiac imaging at the University of Colorado School of Medicine in Aurora, Colorado, and at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. He previously served as Director of Cardiac MRI at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus and Medical Director of Cardiac Imaging at UCHealth Cherry Creek Medical Center.

He earned his medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine in Durham, North Carolina, and completed his residency in internal medicine at New York-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center in New York. Dr. Groves is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, cardiovascular computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Groves has an extensive research background, having authored several original peer-reviewed research publications, guideline statements and editorials with a focus on cardiac imaging.
