National Jewish Health Welcomes Pediatric Pulmonologist Dr. Alicia Della Volpe



DENVER - Pediatric pulmonologist Alicia Della Volpe, MD, has joined the National Jewish Health team in the Division of Pediatric Pulmonology. Dr. Della Volpe treats children with asthma, chronic bronchitis and other respiratory diseases. She sees patients on the National Jewish Health main campus in Denver.

Dr. Della Volpe brings a wealth of expertise in managing a wide range of pediatric pulmonary conditions, including asthma, complicated pneumonia, chronic lung disease, congenital anomalies of the respiratory tract and bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD). She is also highly experienced in caring for critically ill infants in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).

Most recently, Dr. Della Volpe was a pediatric pulmonologist at KIDZ Pediatric Pulmonology at the Nicklaus Children’s Hospital in Miami, Florida. Originally from Argentina, Dr. Della Volpe completed her pediatric residency at Hasbro Children’s Hospital at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. She completed her pulmonary fellowship at Jackson Memorial Hospital of Miami. Dr. Della Volpe is also fully fluent in Spanish.
