Mission Statement
National Jewish Health is committed to promoting antimicrobial stewardship for the judicious use (or non-use) of antimicrobials to optimize patient care, leading to better outcomes, and a reduction in antibiotic-resistant organisms. The Antimicrobial Stewardship Program (ASP) Committee is a multidisciplinary group represented by pharmacy, microbiology, physicians, nursing, information technology, and quality charged with monitoring data concerning antibiotic use as well as the implementation of ASP initiatives.
