5 Star Rating:
Likes: The group work and presentation are good. The use of students taking pictures of everyday activities and organizing them into a visual format for presentation makes sense for practical application.
Dislikes: Powerpoint presentations seem to disengage student interest. There was an overwhelming amount of information on each slide for students to understand.
Helpful Hints: For the warm-up, rather than start a class discussion, begin the lesson with self-reflection, journaling, or pair discussions.
Missing Elements: There needs to be better time breakdown for activities. The lesson should include proactive solutions rather than only how we contribute to the problem.
Additional Comments: www.prezi.com is a great way to create new presentations.
