An overview of travel tips for traveling with oxygen.
Transcript
Hi, I'm Heather, I'm a registered nurse at National Jewish Health. The fact that you wear oxygen should not restrict you from traveling. You will need to plan ahead, at least two weeks is advisable. Please check with your carrier, they have a website and usually there is a form that will need to be signed and check with your healthcare provider to get that form signed. Your oxygen supply company can also set you up with oxygen at your destination. With a little planning ahead, your travel should be worry free.
