Preferred volume: 1 mL aliquot from a random urine into a labeled polypropylene or similar plastic tube.

Pediatric Collection

Minimum volume: 0.3 mL aliquot from a random urine into a labeled polypropylene or similar plastic tube.

Storage Transport Temp

Offsite: Frozen. Send urine aliquot Priority Overnight via FedEx and in a well insulated container on dry ice.

Stability

Analyze Immediately at RT (15-25°C)
48 hours refrigerated at 2-8°C

Notes

Random urine sample is the only acceptable sample type.
