Jim Gianvito, MA
Jim earned his Bachelor's degree from Utah State University with a double major in Outdoor Recreation and Recreation Education. He then completed a Master's Degree at Brigham Young University in Therapeutic Recreation. Jim joined the staff at Morgridge Academy (formally known as Kunsberg School) at National Jewish Health in 1985 as a Special Education P.E. Teacher. With a background as an American Red Cross Lifeguard and Water Safety Instructor, he teaches 8 progressive levels of swimming instruction in the Morgridge Academy pool. He emphasizes inclusion, success, and maximum participation, while still having fun, in the Physical Education program. In his spare time, Jim enjoys traveling, photography, snowboarding, and adventure.
