Scott Mitchell is the President of U.S. Engineering Metalworks. He originally joined the U.S. Engineering family of companies in 2019 as Vice President of Project Development for U.S. Engineering Construction. Previously he led executive teams spanning five continents in organizations ranging from early-stage startups to Fortune 500s. Most recently prior to joining U.S. Engineering, Scott helped revive growth in an automotive and heavy truck manufacturing company in three countries.
Scott is a board member of First Western Financial Inc. and the Rocky Mountain Chapter of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO), and he served on the Board of the Governor of Colorado’s Leaders Initiative in John Hickenlooper’s administration. Other past board memberships include the Hyatt Hotel Authority, the Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Association (ALS), Colorado Uplift, Colorado Black Chamber of Commerce, Mental Health Association of Colorado, Colorado Sports Hall of Fame, and Urban League.
Scott holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Southern Illinois University and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Denver.
